
Hamilton Orchards is located on West Street in New Salem, off Massachusetts Route 202 North of Belchertown and South of Orange. Follow the signs by the side of the road.

Check the Picking Weather. The Apple Barn is our summertime beehive of activity at Hamilton Orchards. We've expanded it greatly since we first built the barn in 1977. Here you will find our own fresh fruit in season, homemade pies, apple dumplings, cider, donuts and a large selection of preserves including jams, apple butter, apple sauce and candies including fudge. Choose a delicious sugar pumpkin for pie or as a centerpiece for a fall decoration, For the kids, we have Jack-o-Lantern pumpkins to light up your Halloween. Hours - CLOSED FOR THE SEASONOpen Every Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our Snack Bar Enjoy the food in our snack bar and try our famous pie a-la-mode when you want to take a break from Pick Your Own. Our outdoor picnic tables are available in fair weather. Petting Zoo You and your children will enjoy getting to know the animals in our petting "zoo." Fall raspberries are ready for picking about the first of September and produce a prolific crop until they are killed by freezing weather in October. The Orchard is Closed November December, January and February March and April, May and June.

berries and home-baked pastries until Thanksgiving at Farmer's Markets in City Hall on Cambridge St. Wednesdays - 11:00 AM -- 6:00 PM Amherst Farmers' Market on the Common - Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Fall Foliage The sugar maple trees at Hamilton Orchards blaze with color in the fall. The hills surrounding our orchards present New England's fall colors in their full majestic beauty, A walk to the top of Serenity Hill, where our fall raspberries are waiting to be picked, offers an even more spectacular view of the Quabbin Reservoir Reservation where eagles and other wildlife abound.
